Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Technician - Wastewater to support plant operations and maintenance tasks at a wastewater facility. The role emphasizes hands-on reliability, safety, and adherence to environmental quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have O&M experience or related education, familiarity with biological/chemical treatment processes, and strong communication skills to coordinate with staff and reporting personnel.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Grade 3 license preferred or the ability to obtain within a reasonable time frame.
• Operation and maintenance experience at a wastewater treatment facility, or any equivalent combination of similar work experience and education.
• A strong work ethic and the desire to learn.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, other personnel, and the general public.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Familiarity with biological/chemical treatment processes with particular aptitude for laboratory analysis, record keeping, and facility maintenance.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
