Job summary

Schupan & Sons is seeking an Operations Administrator for the 1st shift in Kalamazoo, MI. The role covers shipping, receiving, clerical tasks, and ERP data entry. You will manage the truck scale documentation and assist with month-end duties while collaborating with a supervisor on inventory and reporting.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, 3–5 years in a similar admin role, and proficiency with ERP systems. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience using ERP systems.
• Organized, detail-oriented, a problem solver, a team player, and capable of working with analytical tools.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete paperwork associated with billing, buying, receiving, and shipping of scrap metal in an accurate and timely manner.
• Answer phones and assist drivers, visitors, and staff entering the facilities.
• Weigh inbound and outbound material for shipping and receiving by utilizing the truck scale.
• Prepare, post, and mail invoices; Enter weights, photographs, and related docs into the ERP system.
• Enter and post daily production logs; maintain scale and departmental records.
