Schupan is hiring an Operations Administrator for the Kalamazoo, MI area. The role focuses on shipping, receiving, clerical tasks, and managing the truck scale documentation on site.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in a similar admin role and experience with ERP systems, MS Office, and strong organizational skills. Monday–Friday schedule with competitive benefits and PTO is offered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare paperwork for billing, receiving, and shipping of scrap metal accurately and timely.
• Answer phones and assist drivers, visitors, and staff entering the facilities.
• Weigh inbound and outbound material using the truck scale.
• Enter weights, photos, and documents into the ERP system.
• Maintain scale and departmental records; file weight tickets and shipping docs.
• Assist with month-end duties and report to the Divisional Controller.

This role also manages the complete operation and documentation of the physical truck scale.
