WebstaurantStore is seeking an Operations Leadership Trainee to gain broad exposure to our distribution center operations and leadership team expectations. The program emphasizes flexibility in shifts to cover leadership gaps and rotate through departments for comprehensive understanding.

The role supports day-to-day departmental decisions, emphasizes learning the interdependencies of each area, and aims to place trainees into permanent leadership positions upon program completion.

Qualifications

• MS Office proficiency required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Service leadership mindset with a desire to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of day-to-day decisions of the assigned department/shift regarding performance, process and leadership.
• Learn and understand the process of each department/shift, identify interactions and areas for improvement.
• Engage in leadership discussions and apply WebstaurantStore leadership principles to daily work.
• Monitor metrics and resolve operating issues; assist in corrective actions and discipline processes.
• Interact with employees to promote engagement and ensure safety regulations are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
