Job summary

The Operations Leadership Trainee at WebstaurantStore is an entry level salaried program designed to train candidates across distribution center operations. The role requires flexibility across shifts and departments to gain a full understanding of the operation and leadership expectations.

Initially day shift, with future time on multiple shifts, you will learn processes, monitor metrics, and engage with staff to reinforce safety and performance standards as you progress into a permanent

Responsibilities

• Support the management of day-to-day decisions of the assigned department/shift regarding performance, process and leadership.
• Learn and understand the process of each department/shift, identify inter-department connections and areas for improvement.
• Actively engage in leadership discussions and apply WebstaurantStore leadership principles to daily work.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly metrics for assigned departments; identify and resolve operating issues as needed, including corrective actions.
• Interact with employees regularly to promote a high level of engagement and ensure safety rules are followed.
• Other duties as assigned.

The goal foranOperations LeadershipTrainee is tocompletethetrainingprogram and be placedina permanent leadership position within the facility.

While this shift does operate primarily on day shift initially, it will be the expectation that time will be spent across multiple shifts.
