Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, offers an entry-level operations management rotation designed to prepare you for promotion. You will shadow professionals across yard operations, millwork, production, dispatch, safety, sales, finance and human resources while you learn company processes and practices.

This program includes hands-on training, budgeting exposure, and a path to supervisory roles as you gain industry knowledge and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Entry-level operations management with company training provided.
• Ability to rotate through departments and learn a variety of processes.

Responsibilities

• Shadows assigned employees/management to learn and perform duties.
• Receives training and performs duties in all operational areas (yard, millwork, production, dispatch/scheduling/delivery, safety, sales, finance and HR).
• May participate in operating budgets and capital expenditure recommendations.
• Participates in and completes assigned training programs.
• Other duties may be assigned.
