Nucor Corporation is seeking high-potential graduates for its Operations Leadership Program in the United States. The role provides hands-on training across scrap metal recycling operations, including procurement, logistics, and daily plant management.

You will learn through a 12–18 month program, travel frequently, and relocate as needed to support business needs. Strong teamwork, decision making, and communication are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline, operations, management, supply chain, or related field.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing assignments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships, collaborate and work efficiently with team members.
• Be able to make quick decisions with confidence in an ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn all facets of the scrap metal recycling industry in a hands-on training program.
• Model and promote our Safety First culture and OSHA programs.
• Oversee various aspects of scrap processing, transportation, and day-to-day operations.
• Interact with corporate personnel, customers, and suppliers to resolve issues and ensure product delivery.
• Collaborate with managers to plan and direct work and improve processes.
• Travel frequently and relocate after training as required.
