Job summary

HID Global Corporation in Austin, TX seeks a US Operations Supervisor to lead Warehouse, Production, and Repair teams. You will own daily priorities, staffing, and performance against safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory KPIs.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.
• 3-5 years of warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, repair, or operations leadership experience.
• Minimum 2 years of direct supervisory experience managing multiple teams.
• Experience leading performance reviews and corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of warehouse, production, inventory-control, and shipping processes.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar improvement methods.
• Proficiency with ERP systems; Infor M3 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Warehouse, Production, and Repair teams; set daily priorities and staffing.
• Own operating KPIs, safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory accuracy, and SLAs.
• Conduct performance reviews and root-cause analysis; report risks to Operations Manager.
• Plan labor capacity, cross-training, and overtime to meet demand.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop employees; implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional priorities to resolve material constraints and backlogs.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and escalation of material risks.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to boost safety, quality, and productivity.
• Maintain and improve SOPs, work instructions, and training records.
• Lead safety compliance, inspections, and risk-reduction activities.
• Manage operating-budget elements and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Coordinate facility and equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.
