Job summary

Blue Kangaroo Packoutz in Colorado is seeking a Lead Technician/Manager to oversee warehouse operations, packing, cleaning and storage of client property, with a focus on safety, efficiency and top-tier service. Leadership experience in restoration or warehouse settings is required.

The role requires 5+ years in related environments, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams. Office and field duties mix, with emphasis on leadership and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history.
• Minimum of five (5) years in restoration, warehouse or distribution with supervisory experience.
• Proficient in OSHA regulations.
• Strong planning, multi-project management and problem resolution skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and negotiation abilities; strong written and verbal communication.
• Interpersonal skills with customer-focus and organizational ability.
• Proficient in Word/Excel and general computer OS.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term plans and initiatives aligned with company goals.
• Coordinate multiple teams to share ideas and learning.
• Assess and optimize departmental budgets to reduce costs and boost profits.
• Inspire staff through positive leadership and incentive programs.
• Communicate with General Manager on priorities and projects.
• Identify and resolve problems to maximize efficiency and revenue.
• Spot market shifts and adjust course as needed.
• Oversee inventory, packing, cleaning, vaulting, and handling of documents/merchandise in the PO/PB/Cleaning process.
• Adjust staffing levels and schedules based on volume and priorities.
• Ensure all Operations departments are properly staffed and trained.
• Lead safety program activities and meetings.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct regular staff meetings.
