Job summary

PACS seeks an Operations Assistant to support day-to-day operations at our skilled nursing facility in Grand Junction, Colorado. Under the Licensed Administrator, you will help direct clinical and administrative activities to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Director of Nursing and leadership, overseeing budgeting, staffing, policy adherence, and supporting surveys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university is required; MBA preferred.
• Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility in coordination with the Licensed Administrator and DON, ensuring quality patient care.
• Assist in planning, directing, and evaluating facility operations in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and variance reporting to maintain fiscal health.
• Lead HR activities including staffing, training, performance, and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with PACS Services and other key stakeholders; prepare for state/federal surveys.
