Job summary

PACS is seeking an Operations Assistant to support the Licensed Administrator in directing day-to-day operations at a skilled nursing facility. You will work with the leadership team to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with governing standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent.
• Masters Degree or MBA preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the facilitys provision of quality patient care by working closely with the facility Director of Nursing and other key clinical staff members.
• Assist in directing day-to-day operations under the Licensed Administrator.
• Develop marketing plans for census growth and monitor census and payor mix daily.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facilitys programs and activities.
• Monitor the facilitys financial budget and evaluate variance performance to budget on an ongoing basis to help facilitate the financial health of the facility.
• Oversee the facilitys adoption of policies, procedures and professional standards of practice that govern the operation of the facility.
• Lead facility Quality Assurance (QAPI) efforts to help drive continuous improvement.
• Respond to state and federal surveys/inspections.
• Conduct daily meetings with staff during facility inspections to discuss survey findings and formulate plans of action/correction.
