Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking an Operations Manager in Lorain, OH to lead the U.S. operations, including manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and finance. The role reports to the Local Management Team and requires strategic planning, cost control, and regulatory compliance to support sustainable growth.

The candidate will drive Lean initiatives, ensure service levels, and collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and HR to optimize performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of and experience organizing effective business operations in a commercial environment.
• Knowledge of factors influencing customer needs and satisfaction regarding manufacturability, quality, return, risk management, etc.
• Experience with personnel management, implementing organizational changes, and knowledge of safety/environment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual operational plans aligned with corporate strategy and NA business objectives.
• Establish departmental goals, budgets, staffing plans, and performance metrics.
• Lead manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, maintenance, and support functions to meet production and service targets.
• Monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure operational efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost control.
• Provide overall financial leadership for U.S. operations and manage budgeting and reporting.
• Oversee forecasting and long-range financial planning and ensure internal controls.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, supply chain or related fields
