Job summary

Uline, a family-owned leader in shipping, packaging materials, and related supplies, seeks an Operations Manager for its Washington branch at 3131 Hogum Bay Road NE, Lacey, WA 98516. You will lead a multi-department team, drive operational excellence, and shape a high-performance culture on-site.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in operations or general management, with preferred experience in warehouse, call center, or sales and some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• 5+ years experience in operations or general management.
• Warehouse, call center and / or sales experience a plus.
• Experience supervising personnel.
• Limited overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of Uline’s Washington branch, including the Warehouse, Customer Service, Sales, HR, IT and Facilities departments.
• Supervise branch departments to consistently ensure impeccable customer service.
• Ensure the 1-million-square foot distribution center grounds always exceed company standards.
• Support recruitment and retention of top-tier talent and assist with employee relations.
• Provide hands-on senior management and drive accountability through performance feedback.
