Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily store and service operations, driving efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction. Lead a team, manage processes, and execute strategies to grow sales and meet organizational goals.

The role demands hands-on leadership across retail, fuel, restaurant, and truck care with strong communication, budgeting, and reporting skills. On-site position within a collaborative culture with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years in retail, travel stop, c-store, or similar management.
Strong customer service and leadership skills; ability to manage teams.
Proficient in budgeting, P&L awareness, and daily reporting.

Responsibilities

Hands-on responsibility across multiple business operations up to store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care.
Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility; perform safety checks.
Drive sales through efficient ordering, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
Assist General Manager with task execution, scheduling, and cash integrity; complete daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
Understand financial reporting to analyze profit and loss and implement improvements.
Collaborate with managers on talent acquisition and staff development.
