Job summary

Canvas Beauty Bar is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, optimize systems, and lead a high-performing team. You will work closely with ownership to maintain exceptional client experiences, culture, and standards while driving efficiency and growth.

The ideal candidate brings leadership, strong organizational and project-management skills, experience in retail or hospitality, and excellence in communication and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading salon or retail operations and teams.
• Strong leadership and project management abilities.
• Experience with hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Customer-service oriented with ability to build relationships.
• Familiarity with salon software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational aspects of the business.
• Manage inventory and purchasing.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, employee training, scheduling, performance management, and HR processes.
• Coordinate marketing initiatives, email campaigns, promotions, education events, weddings, and special projects.
• Manage salon calendars, operational communications, and administrative systems.
• Ensure completion of daily operational tasks while maintaining accountability, organization, and a positive team culture.
• Serve as the primary operational resource for employees, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with ownership to support the continued growth of the business.
