Job summary

EverLine Coatings and Services is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Grand Rapids location and oversee all service staff and operations. You will drive efficiency, manage budgets, and help the team deliver high-quality pavement maintenance projects.

The right candidate will combine strong leadership with practical planning and a focus on safety and customer satisfaction to grow profitability and client trust.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role.
• Experience in planning and project management.
• Knowledge of business processes and functions (HR, procurement, operations).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Outstanding leadership skills.
• Organized and attention to detail.
• Able to prioritize while multitasking across multiple jobs and crews.
• BSc/BA in Business or relevant field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and execution of projects.
• Schedule projects with the clients and crews.
• Source and order supplies and materials for projects.
• Hire, oversee, and manage crew leads and technicians.
• Train and assess crews for proficiency.
• Implement processes to drive efficiency.
• Evaluate and improve service operations and financial performance.
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
• Direct the employee assessment process.
• Ensure staff follow health and safety regulations.
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, call backs).
