Job summary

Vicus Capital in State College, PA, seeks a Director of Operations to lead the Advisory Operations and DCSA teams. This in-office role reports to the COO and oversees daily operations, staff development, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate will manage back-up coverage for processing tasks, implement controls with Compliance, and communicate effectively with investors, advisors, and executives. A Series 65 license is required within the first year.

Qualifications

• Series 65 license required within one year of hire.
• Strong professionalism and work ethic.
• Excellent people skills and ability to coach and manage staff.
• Critical thinking and effective time management.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication.
• Systems analysis, project management, and process improvement focus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with CRM systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Advisory Operations and DCSA staff to deliver world-class client service nationwide.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with financial advisors and office staff.
• Manage Operations and Dedicated Client Services staff, including back-up coverage for processing tasks.
• Oversee SLA adherence and staff performance; evaluate processes for improvement.
• Collaborate with Compliance on policy creation and regulatory changes.
• Lead business continuity planning and cross-training initiatives.
