Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to direct, coach, and support hourly production associates on site. You will manage attendance, scheduling, staffing coverage, and monitor KPIs for safety, quality, and delivery while aligning with daily production targets.

You will lead front-line teams, develop team skills, resolve issues, and collaborate with other groups to optimize plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years manufacturing experience OR HS diploma with 6 years manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Experience supervising front-line manufacturing employees.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage front-line manufacturing employees (hourly).
• Coordinate attendance, scheduling, and staffing coverage.
• Monitor adherence to daily production schedules, volume targets and KPIs (safety, quality, delivery).
• Provide guidance and support to team; escalate issues to multi-functional partners as needed.
• Explain technical information to team members and maintain strong customer relationships as interface to GE.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees. Typically managing hourly employee populations

• Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy

• May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills

• Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work

• Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area

• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework

• Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures

• Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters

• A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team

• Develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE

• Explains technical information to others

• Role is 100% on site

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm), will train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college and 3 years of manufacturing experience OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum 6 year’s manufacturing experience

• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing supervisory experience

Relocation Assistance Provided: No

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $76,300.00 and $114,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
