Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a capable supervisor for our on-site manufacturing team in the United States. The role focuses on directing hourly production associates, coaching, and ensuring attendance, staffing, and adherence to schedules while meeting KPIs for safety, quality, and delivery.

The position requires 2nd shift availability (3pm–11pm) with training on 1st shift, a manufacturing background, and supervisory experience to drive plant performance and culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of manufacturing experience OR HS Diploma/GED with 6 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees. Typically managing hourly employee populations
• Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy
• May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills
• Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
• Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area
• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework
• Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures
• Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters
• A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team
• Develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE
• Explains technical information to others
• Role is 100% on site

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm), will train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college and 3 years of manufacturing experience OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum 6 year’s manufacturing experience
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing supervisory experience

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $76,300.00 and $114,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus. This posting is expected to remain open for at least seven days after it was posted on September 30, 2026.
