Job summary

The AmeriLux Family of Companies in Green Bay seeks an experienced production leader to own and grow a dedicated department responsible for safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.

You will direct the production team, drive performance metrics, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and cost efficiency while advancing your career in a results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a production or manufacturing department.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety program ownership.
• Experience with safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production output against schedule and demand.
• Ensure safety on the floor and OSHA compliance.
• Maintain product quality and manage scrap or rework.
• Plan labor, staffing levels, and overtime.
• Direct supervision, coaching, and performance management.
• Manage department budget, cost per unit, and equipment uptime.
• Pursue continuous improvement of processes, layout, and throughput.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily production output against schedule and demand
• Safety of every person on the floor, including OSHA compliance and incident response
• Product quality and scrap or rework rates
• Labor planning, staffing levels, and overtime control
• Direct supervision, coaching, and performance management of the production team
• Department budget, cost per unit, and equipment uptime
• Continuous improvement of process, layout, and throughput

What you are measured on

• On-time production and fill rate
• Recordable incident rate and safety audit results
• Scrap, rework, and first-pass quality
• Labor cost as a percent of output
• Turnover and time-to-productivity on the floor

What you bring

• Experience leading a production or manufacturing department, including direct people management
• Working knowledge of OSHA and safety program ownership
