Job summary

Qualifications

• Interview hourly associates and provide recommendations for hire.
• Monitor attendance, productivity and performance markers; provide counseling or recognition as needed.
• Provide regular coaching and mentoring, training, and participation for associates throughout the week.
• Administer performance reviews and drive professional development.
• Lead stand-up meetings and provide feedback to improve progress and quality of service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, dispatch and documentation; propose changes to increase productivity.
• Provide relief coverage for operational duties when associates are out.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of site operating systems to ensure compliance and resolve exceptions.
• Delegate daily functions with accountability and recruiting; provide career development and coaching structure.
