Pilot Thomas Logistics in Fort Lupton, CO seeks an Operations Assistant to support the Operations Manager in directing activities of the local department, focusing on drivers, trucks and inventory.

You will assist with policy implementation with HR, maintain equipment, manage filings with state and federal agencies, review inventories, order supplies, and train drivers to improve safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in a similar role.
• Valid and current driver's license.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Demonstrated supervisory skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and regulations.
• Ability to present information effectively to groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in directing and coordinating activities of the local Operations department.
• Assist in implementing department policies with HR approval and coordination.
• Maintain equipment and track locations to ensure productivity and safety.
• File paperwork and fees with state and federal agencies, including inspections.
• Assist with driver meetings and inventory reviews to gain efficiencies.
• Order regional supplies using Coupa and manage vendor needs.
• Support training tools and safety coaching for drivers.
