Job summary

Walmart is seeking a qualified leader for an Operations/Logistics role at the Robert, LA facility. You will drive the business plan for your area, focusing on production, quality, safety and operational improvements, while forecasting staffing and performance metrics to meet demand.

You will supervise and develop associates and managers, manage workload, and participate in hiring and promotions, ensuring adherence to Walmart policies and a culture of integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management) and 1 year experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; or 1 year as Walmart Logistics Area Manager; or 3 years experience in a similar environment supervising and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Drive and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals; e.g., production, quality, safety, and operational improvements.
• Forecast staffing workload and performance results to meet business demands for workload and performance results for the area of responsibility.
• Supervise and manage associates and leaders in the area of responsibility with direction, monitoring, and feedback; identify training and development needs.
