Job summary

TAS Environmental Services is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead and mentor the field operations at our Perry Park location in Tennessee. The role focuses on directing emergency response activities, coordinating with customers and local authorities, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has experience in hazardous materials handling, emergency spill response, and team leadership, with CDL Hazmat and HAZWOPER certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience handling emergency spill response across multiple sites.
• Knowledge of hazmat handling, containment and remediation.
• Ability to read and follow regulations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Function as part of an Emergency response team by performing waste services and remediation.
• Mentor and direct operational activities for the assigned location.
• Coordinate with customers and officials on projects and proposals.
• Supervise staff including technicians, operators, drivers, and foremen.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and PPE requirements.
• Assist in disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
