About the role

They are currently looking for an Operations Coordinator (Head of) to own the smooth running of our day to day operations. You will lead the operations team, protect our service commitments to customers, and make sure every handoff between sales, operations support, workshop and logistics happens without a breakdown. If you are a systems thinker who enjoys leading people, making commercial decisions and fixing what is not working, this role is for you.

Ths will be an onsite role based in Webster, Houston.

A background in Reseller, Distribution, Electronics , engineering etc would be an advantage but most important is someone technically minded that wants to get their hands dirty in a growing exciting business.

What you will do

• Own delivery of all operational SLAs, ensuring transactional activities meet defined time, quality and customer service standards
• Lead the operations team and hold them accountable for accurate, on time work that aligns to business priorities
• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly operational activity, balancing workload and resources to meet demand and avoid bottlenecks
• Oversee workflow from start to finish across sales, operations support, workshop and logistics
• Make sure equipment lifecycle activities (on hire, off hire, servicing and readiness) are run efficiently, with assets kept ready for hire
• Oversee logistics and freight so deliveries arrive on time, proactively managing risks, delays and escalations that affect customer commitments
• Own system governance and data integrity, so our operational systems are accurate, current and trusted for decisions and reporting
• Align operational activity with commercial outcomes, protecting revenue through accurate transactions, contract management and asset utilisation
• Lead the resolution of NCRs, operational risks and service issues within defined timeframes
• Drive continuous improvement by finding inefficiencies, introducing standardised processes and embedding better ways of working
