Job summary

Assistant Manager (Operations) at Maverik in New Mexico is a full-time leadership role overseeing daily store operations, coaching team members, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Starting pay is $20.04–$22.04 per hour, with eligibility for a bonus program and opportunities for career growth.

You'll cross-train between Food Service and Front-of-Store, lead by example, and help drive a culture of service, teamwork, and accountability while meeting safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to apply.
• 1 year+ supervisory experience (preferred).
• Food safety certification must be obtained and maintained as required by state/local jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Team Members to deliver the Maverik GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service expectations.
• Support daily store operations and ensure smooth Food Service and Front-of-Store activities.
• Lead by example and mentor team members to foster a culture of service, teamwork, and accountability.
