Job summary

ofi North America (Olam Food Ingredients) is seeking an onsite cleaner to perform a range of housekeeping tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing restrooms and breakrooms. You will ensure spaces meet our cleanliness standards, manage waste, and maintain equipment while coordinating with team members in a production environment.

Ideal candidates communicate well, maintain physical health to stand and move for long shifts, and follow safety procedures for chemical use and food

• Report repairs and log housekeeping activities

Position Summary

ofi values in-person collaboration with colleagues – this is a fully onsite position where employees are expected to work their specific work schedule onsite.

The ideal candidate must have the skills or experience in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, breakrooms, tables, floors, and offices. Must have good communication skills and be willing to work with others. Must have a working knowledge of chemicals and how to safely use them.

What You’ll Do - Position Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Dispose of trash from bins and containers
• Scrub sinks and toilets
• Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed
• Vacuum rugs and carpets
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters as needed
• Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products.
• Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered
• Fill out and turn in housekeeping logs.
• Other duties as assigned

The pay for this role ranges from $15.35- $16.17 annually and is based on position responsibilities and geographic location.

Actual pay within this range may be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or other determining factors.
