Managing Director, Accounting and Operations at Glocap Search
A leading Venture Capital fund is seeking a highly analytical Investor Services Associate to support its growing investor base. This hire will be a key part of the Operations function, responsible for managing investor inquiries, delivering high-quality reporting, completing DDQs/RFIs, and leveraging strong SQL/data skills to improve the fund’s internal and external reporting processes.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for LP inquiries, coordinating timely and accurate responses.
- Manage recurring investor reporting cycles, including capital statements, quarterly reports, performance metrics, and ad‑hoc analyses.
- Prepare, update, and complete DDQs, RFIs, compliance questionnaires, and other investor materials.
- Assist with due diligence processes for new and existing investors.
- Collaborate with the finance, and operations teams to ensure consistent messaging and high‑quality deliverables.
- Build, maintain, and enhance SQL queries to support investor data requests, performance analysis, and reporting workflows.
- Partner with technology and operations to streamline data pipelines and improve data accuracy.
- Develop dashboards and analytics that provide insight into fund performance, portfolio companies, and investor allocations.
- Support internal data governance and documentation related to LP reporting and fund metrics.
- Support fund closings, capital calls, distributions, and investor onboarding/AML processes.
- Coordinate with fund administrators to reconcile data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accuracy of investor and fund information.
- Assist with internal process improvements across IR, operations, and finance.
Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of experience in investor relations, investor services, fund operations, or data/analytics within a VC, PE, hedge fund, or fund administrator.
- Strong command of SQL- able to query, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
- Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing DDQs, RFIs, and investor reports.
- High attention to detail and strong project‑management skills.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Familiarity with venture capital fund structures, reporting, and performance metrics is a plus.
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker) a plus.
