Job summary

Wabash Valley Service Company in West Liberty, IL seeks an Operations Support role to supervise training, manage schedules, and coordinate warehouse duties. You will ensure efficient product sales, distribution and warehousing, while maintaining safety and accuracy in inventory and paperwork.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), 2+ years experience and a CDL with HazMat endorsements. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years related experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain CDL with HazMat endorsements and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Willingness to work hours beyond normal schedule during seasonal demands.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing, training and development of employees.
• Set work schedules and assignments with Location Manager to optimize efficiency.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure proper documentation of shipments and transfers.
• Develop and maintain procedures for orderly, safe warehouse operation.
• Support Sales and customer service through effective service and problem resolution.
• Assist other locations as needed and ensure timely reporting and timecard accuracy.
