Job summary

Carrier Enterprise is hiring an Operations Specialist in Houston, TX. The role ensures inventory accuracy, leads cycle counts, reconciles variances, and manages physical inventories regionally.

You will support damaged and unavailable inventory, drive cost controls with Finance, and oversee fleet maintenance for powered equipment. You will coordinate safety programs (Safety Plus, Kinetic), train new hires on Safety Plus software, and participate in continuous improvement projects to raise

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in e-commerce, operations or logistics.
• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and Excel.
• Ability to work across multiple functions and teams.

Responsibilities

• Cycle count and physical inventory management across the region.
• Inventory adjustments and reporting to maintain accuracy.
• Support unavailable, damaged and non-stock inventory processes.
• Manage factory claims and freight-related issues with Finance and Planning.
• Oversee credit and rebill transactions for the region.
• Fleet management of powered industrial equipment and forklift safety tracking.
• Administer Safety Plus and Kinetic initiatives; ensure OSHA data accuracy.
• Identify process improvements and share best practices.
