Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. in Ohio is seeking an Operations Internship for Summer 2027. Under close supervision, you will assist with customers on providing transportation/logistics services and gain exposure to basic transportation management principles.

The role offers hands-on experience in daily operations, planning of freight, DOT compliance, and driver payroll, with a 12-week schedule, 20-25 hours per week, and a chance to develop organizational and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four year undergraduate degree program and pursuing a business degree or related field.
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week and complete a 12 week internship program.
• Junior Or Senior Level Preferred.

Compensation Information

Salary Range: $15.00-18.75/hour

Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set

This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.

Compensation

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
