J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. invites applications for an Operations Internship designed to provide exposure to transportation/logistics services under close supervision.

The role covers planning, asset utilization, safety, DOT compliance, driver payroll, and logistics analysis as part of a real-world learning experience. Key responsibilities include supporting freight planning, driver supervision, and participation in profitability and efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week during the school semester.
• Able to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Junior or Senior level preferred.
• This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program OR graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited community college, college or university.

Compensation Information

Salary Range: $15.00-18.75/hour

Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set

Compensation

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
