Job summary

Haworth, Inc. in Holland, MI invites a part-time or full-time college student to join our Walls operations as an Intern for the May–August 2027 period.

This on-site program offers hands-on projects, cross-functional collaboration, and exposure to a major product launch while you gain leadership and process-improvement experience. You'll participate in workshops, visit the Haworth Corporate Headquarters, and attend industry events such as NeoCon.

Qualifications

• Part-time or full-time college enrollment, working towards a bachelor’s degree in Operations management, Manufacturing Engineering, or General Business with at least a junior level status by Fall of 2027.
• Ability to work On-site in Holland, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.
• Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for the position.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking forpaid Operations Interns to join our team in Holland, MI.This position will be working onsite at the Haworth Corporate Headquarters.

Job Overview

You'll join a cohort of around 50 other dynamic interns for a 12-week program packed with meaningful projects and weekly learning opportunities. You’ll attend NeoCon, the largest commercial design event in the world, where you will get an insider's look at all the latest industry trends and innovations. Sharpen your skills with interactive workshops on networking, public speaking, and using AI tools in a business environment. Connect with mentors and see all areas of the office and manufacturing processes. Then unwind at intern-only social events where you can meet people from all corners of the business. As an Operations intern, you will have the opportunity to assist with a variety of exciting projects including: A New Product Launch in our Walls plant, Front line leadership experience, and continuously improving current and new processes.

Required Qualifications

• Part-time or full-time college enrollment, working towards a bachelor’s degree in Operations management, Manufacturing Engineering, or General Business with at least a junior level status by Fall of 2027.
• Ability to work On-site in Holland, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall GPA of 2.95 or higher.
• Prior Haworth experience.
• Extra-curricular activity experience such as athletics, clubs, volunteer work, etc.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience office 365 tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Prior leadership experience

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications, and keyboard skills.
• Desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
• Organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
