CRST The Transportation Solution is offering an Early Talent Program with an Operations Internship in Birmingham, AL. You will gain hands-on experience in daily logistics, support teams, and learn transportation management practices.

Onboarding takes place at our headquarters in Cedar Rapids, IA. Interns must be enrolled for the fall semester, with potential to be considered for full-time roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a business-related 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Sophomore–Junior-level student pursuing a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Accounting, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance or similar.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Self-starter with high motivation and ownership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Enrolled in undergraduate courses for fall semester after internship.

What teams could I be a part of?

As a member of the Operations team in this division, you could have the opportunity to work in a variety of different teams supporting customers.

• Account Management: This group will manage and grow a portfolio of clients by working with our Sales team to identify network needs. They will also work to solve client’s complex logistics challenges.
• Operations: Work with independent business owners to ensure revenue growth through advisement regarding current industry trends and forecasts
• Pricing: Use real time data to provide instant feedback to the Account Management team so we always stay competitive in the market and have a high success rate on awarded business.

• Pursuing a business-related 4-year bachelor’s degree from accredited university
• Sophomore-Junior-level college student pursuing a degree within Business, Management, Marketing, Accounting, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance or a similar field
• Minimum 2.5 or aboveGPA
• Exhibit a strong work ethic and loyalty
• Strong communicationand relationship-building skills
• Has strong aspirations for future success in business or management
• Self-starter with high personal motivation and desire to take initiative and ownership
• Prior coursework, internship, or work experience preferred, but not required

• These positions will be based in Birmingham, AL, with onboarding and orientation taking place with all interns at our headquarters in Cedar Rapids, IA within the first couple of weeks!
• Applicants must be enrolled in undergraduate courses at least the fall semester following the summer internship.
• Interns who successfully complete the Early Talent Program are considered for full-time positions within CRST upon graduation with additional benefits.
