Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Operations Intern at our Jacksonville site to support process mapping, data collection, and continuous improvement across Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Reliability. This role emphasizes hands-on learning in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will contribute to process improvements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain exposure to supply chain concepts while using Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Preferred fields of study include Engineering, Industrial and Systems, Operations, or Computer Engineering; Supply Chain, or a closely related technical discipline may also be considered.
• Candidates must be available either May - August or June - September 2027.
• Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited bachelor's or graduate degree program with a technical, operations, or manufacturing focus.
• Basic understanding of supply chain concepts and processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization / AI tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn about supply chain operations and processes.

Responsibilities

• Process mapping and improvement: collect, analyze, and communicate operational data using Excel.
• Technology integration: support new tools to enhance data visualization within Operations.
• Document best practices: create/update work instructions and reports.
• Additional projects: participate in team meetings and shop-floor activities, communicate status clearly.
