Job summary

Agropur, inc. in Wisconsin is seeking an Operations Intern to work with Plant Leadership and Operations teams, supporting cheese and whey manufacturing and improving performance.

You'll gain hands-on experience in a world-class dairy environment, collect data, analyze improvements, and present outcomes at the internship's end. Pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's in related fields, you will develop professional skills and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Dairy Science, Agricultural Science, Food Science, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities.
• Interest in manufacturing, continuous improvement, and leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to milk receiving, cheese production, drying, packaging, and shipping.
• Support projects focused on improving processes, productivity, quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of improvements.
• Partner with Operations employees and leaders to learn various roles and responsibilities.
• Present project outcomes, recommendations, and key learnings at the conclusion of the internship.
• Interns are valued contributors, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to projects with real business impact.
