Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is offering an Operations Intern role at our Wisconsin plant. You will work with Plant Leadership and Operations teams to support cheese and whey manufacturing processes, analyze data, and participate in projects that enhance productivity, quality, and safety.

The internship provides hands-on manufacturing experience, leadership development, and opportunities to present outcomes to leadership at the end of the program.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Dairy Science, Agricultural Science, Food Science, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities.
• Interest in manufacturing, continuous improvement, and leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to multiple areas of plant operations, including milk receiving, cheese production, drying, packaging, and shipping.
• Support projects focused on improving processes, productivity, quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
• Present project outcomes, recommendations, and key learnings at the conclusion of the internship.
