Job summary

Opensity Solutions in Washington, DC is seeking a Hospitality Services receptionist to support conference rooms, common areas, and kitchens. You will set up meals, maintain supplies, and ensure rooms are clean and ready, with occasional reception duties.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year in customer service, with the ability to multitask and lift up to 40 lbs; overtime may be required. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience in a customer services field.
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
• Ability to resolve issues with professionalism and tact.
• Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater.
• Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Working knowledge of room/resource scheduling software such as BookIt is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hospitality Services includes coordinator and upkeep of client conference rooms, common areas and kitchens.
• Inspect and ensure rooms are clean, stocked with supplies and ready for continual use.
• Set up and break down meeting meals.
• Organize and distribute client kitchen supplies.
• Maintain inventory control in pantries and order supplies as needed.
• Reception coverage includes answering incoming calls and greeting visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
