Job summary

Health Connect America is a multi-state mental health provider seeking an Operations Hiring Specialist to oversee the interview and hiring process for the operations team. You will work closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to identify qualified candidates and ensure a smooth, compliant selection process.

You will conduct interviews, analyze workforce data, forecast staffing needs, and document feedback to support final hiring decisions, contributing to a high-volume,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in recruitment or direct hiring for positions such as Family-Centered Treatment Specialists, Mental Health Therapists, or Family Development Specialists is strongly preferred.

Operations Hiring Specialist

is responsible for managing the interview and hiring process for the operations team. This role partners closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a smooth, efficient, and effective selection process. The position focuses on identifying qualified candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions that align with the organization’s operational needs and workforce goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the interview and hiring process.
• Conduct interviews for operations team positions, ensuring a structured and fair selection process.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and define candidate qualifications.
• Analyze workforce data and collaborate with leadership to forecast staffing needs based on operational trends, service demands, and strategic goals.
• Exercises independent judgement and accountability in making final hiring decisions based on candidate assessments, feedback, and organizational needs.
• Document interviewer feedback to support final hiring decisions, ensuring consistency and fairness.
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure job postings, recruitment efforts, and hiring timelines align with operational needs.
• Communicate hiring priorities and workforce needs to the Talent Acquisition team.
• Ensure compliance with company hiring policies and procedures.
• Work with HR and hiring managers to facilitate smooth transitions for new hires.
• Ensure timely completion of hiring documentation and pre-employment requirements.
• Support hiring managers in preparing for new employee onboarding.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts for the hiring process, including evaluating the effectiveness of selection methods and proposing enhancements based on performance and retention data.
• Identify and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the hiring process.
• Monitor hiring metrics and trends to anticipate future workforce needs.
• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in recruitment and hiring.
• Independently assess candidate suitability and alignment with long‑term organizational goals, beyond immediate role requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in recruitment or direct hiring for positions such as Family-Centered Treatment Specialists, Mental Health Therapists, or Family Development Specialists is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with the licensing, credentialing, and requisite qualifications for both clinical and non‑clinical behavioral health roles is essential.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, high-volume hiring environment, particularly for community-based roles, is a plus.
