WesBanco is seeking an Operations Fraud Specialist to review deposits, RDC and ATM items for fraud, and monitor Digital Banking transactions for suspicious activity. The role includes training, testing, and implementing process changes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
The candidate will perform first line fraud reviews, escalate as needed, and help maintain procedures while supporting branch and Fraud teams. A background in banking and customer service is helpful.
Responsible for reviewing mobile, remote deposit capture, ATM and branch deposits as well as In Clearing check items for potential fraud, requesting holds and approval or rejections as necessary. The Operations Fraud Specialist is also responsible to review Zelle, External Transfers, and transaction monitoring within our Digital Banking applications for suspected fraud. The Operations Fraud Specialist would also be a key resource in training, testing and implementation of process and procedure changes.

The wage range for the Operations Fraud Specialist position is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour and eligible for approved overtime. The position includes 17 days of PTO (Paid Time Off) and 5 days of STD (Short Term Disability) and 11 annual paid holidays, and 1 float holiday.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Associate's Degree in preferred.
Minimum of two years of banking experience, preferably in operations, required.
