The incumbent will drive forecasting accuracy, partner with Operations Management, IT, and market participants, and ensure 24/7 coverage for forecasting processes, including weekends and holidays.

ISO New England is seeking an Operations Forecasting Supervisor to lead a highly specialized team of Forecasters and Data Scientists supporting real‑time Control Room Operations. This role is critical to ensuring accurate system demand, weather, and Variable Energy Resource (VER—wind and solar) forecasts that directly inform Day‑Ahead and Real‑Time market operations and energy settlements across New England. The Supervisor collaborates closely with Operations Management, Forecasters, System Planning load modelers, IT partners, and project teams to advance forecasting capabilities while maintaining strict operational accuracy and reliability standards. Forecasting is a 365‑day operation, and this leader ensures full coverage for all forecasting processes, including weekends and holidays.

The expected salary range for this position is $168,000 - $180,000 per year. This is a U.S. based role. If the successful candidate resides outside of the U.S., relocation will be required.
