Job summary

Dover’s Vehicle Service Group in Madison, IN is seeking a Director of Operations Finance to partner with Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain and R&D, driving strategic, operational, and process improvements to boost margin and performance.

You will report to the Finance Director NSA and lead a finance team, providing financial analysis, budgeting, cost management, and hands-on participation in Lean initiatives and capacity planning at the Madison manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA and/or CMA or an MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in a finance/business role, with manufacturing exposure.
• Experience with standard costing and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain and R&D to drive improvements.
• Report and analyze monthly financial performance, budgets and forecasts.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Enhance management reporting to support decision making.
• Lead cost accounting, planning capacity vs. demand, and inventory accuracy.
• Mentor and develop the finance team; participate in Lean events.
