You will develop and report on cost of goods sold, inventory turns, distribution costs, and labor productivity, while partnering with operations to build budgets and forecasts and perform variance analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years progressive experience in finance, with emphasis on operational finance, cost accounting, or supply chain finance.
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Advanced Excel skills (may involve Google Sheets in the future).
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle) and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with management_levels.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and report on key operational financial metrics (COGS, inventory turns, distribution costs, labor productivity).
• Partner with operational teams to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify cost savings, process improvements, and revenue growth within operations.
• Prepare financial models and business cases for CAPEX, new projects, and changes.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close for operational expenses and related accounts.
• Perform variance analysis between actual results and budget/forecast with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and IT to optimize financial outcomes.
• Participate in development and implementation of financial policies for operations.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
