Job summary

Power Dry is seeking an Operations Field Manager to supervise a team of technicians responding to water and mold damage. You will ensure safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction while leading field operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2–5 years of management in restoration, with hands-on construction familiarity. Competitive base pay plus performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 2–5 years of management experience in construction, restoration, or related industry preferred.
  • Hands-on construction experience strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, job costing, and resource management.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the mitigation team to achieve operational excellence and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and on-time completion.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and provide hands-on leadership when needed.
  • Direct crews in the field and ensure proper construction and mitigation methods are followed.
  • Develop and improve operational workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues quickly, and ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Manage customer complaints and service issues through resolution, working directly with customers to address concerns and ensure a positive overall experience.
  • Hire, onboard, train, and mentor new team members.
  • Conduct ongoing performance evaluations and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to coordinate staffing, equipment, and project resources.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure equipment is properly maintained and available.
  • Review construction plans, scopes of work, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Provide operational support during emergency situations, including after-hours response when needed.
  • Monitor job costing, resource allocation, and operational performance.

Position Overview

The Operations Field Manager will be responsible for supervising and guiding a team of technicians in responding to property damage caused by water or mold. This role requires a proven ability to manage operations efficiently, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintain excellent customer relations. A strong knowledge of construction practices and jobsite safety protocols is essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and highly skilled in both the technical and leadership aspects of mitigation work.
