Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation is seeking an Operations Specialist to help implement and manage programs advancing safety, compliance, reliability and efficiency across NG & NGLs. You will be aligned to your district and report to the Operations Leadership Team with a dotted line to the Regional Operations Specialist Coordinator.

The role includes managing procedures, mentoring staff, administering BOT training, and supporting continuous improvement and change within the district.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and revise, train and manage operating procedures to ensure compliance.
• Mentor Operations’ employees to contribute to writing and managing procedures.
• Administer BOT and Operations qualification programs; manage training assessments and records.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives, training efforts and standard implementation/review.
• Roll out training on new standards/programs and ensure appropriate understanding.
