Job summary

Schumacher & Co., a leading home and interior design company, seeks a motivated Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive process improvements across manufacturing and distribution. The role partners with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, analyze performance, and implement sustainment strategies.

The ideal candidate brings 2–4 years of CI or Lean experience in manufacturing or distribution, strong problem-solving abilities, and hands-on project execution skills to improve flow

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean, manufacturing, quality, process improvement, distribution, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to use data to evaluate performance.
• Ability to manage multiple CI projects in manufacturing and distribution environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational processes to identify bottlenecks, waste, duplication, and inefficiencies.
• Lead CI projects from identification through implementation and sustainment.
• Develop and implement standard work, procedures, and best practices.
• Apply Lean, Kaizen, 5S, root-cause analysis and other CI methodologies.
• Create process maps, workflows, and standard work instructions.
• Improve productivity, quality, safety, and operating costs; measure and sustain results.
