Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking an accomplished Operations Engineering Manager for our Belvidere, IL facility. You will lead cross-functional teams to improve processes across the value chain, drive safety, and deliver operational excellence aligned with business objectives.

The role reports to the Operations Director and requires strong Lean, project leadership, and ERP (Epicor/SAP) proficiency to optimize costs, quality, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or Industrial Technology, or 8 years related operations experience.
• 5 years of progressive Engineering management experience in a similar environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate facility operations to meet customer expectations and KPI targets.
• Drive process improvements across the value chain and ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Implement policies and procedures to sustain operational excellence.
• Manage resources within budget and staffing constraints.
• Serve as Epicor or SAP Super User as assigned.
