Job summary

INFICON invites interns to join the Industrial Engineering/Lean Team to drive continuous improvements in manufacturing and business operations. You will engage in value stream mapping, 6S, visual factory initiatives, time studies, and kaizen events with cross-functional teams.

Preferred candidates are enrolled in Industrial Engineering programs, have a passion for lean manufacturing, and possess organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent requirement.
• Actively enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• GPA > 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Work with Cross Functional Teams to Implement Improvements.
• Conduct Process Observations and Time Studies.
• Assist with Planning for Facility Layout Changes.
• Implement 6S and Visual Factory initiatives.
• Assist with Value Stream Mapping and Documenting Current State Flows.
• Participate in Kaizen Events.
