Job summary

Dow Chemical is seeking undergraduate and graduate engineering students for Internship/Alternating Term Co‑op opportunities in Operations to start in the upcoming Spring, Summer, or Fall term. Roles include Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Materials/Metallurgical engineering with a focus on safe and efficient plant operations. Intern terms range 12–14 weeks.

Most positions are in the U.S. with relocation possible; TWIC eligibility may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Materials Engineering.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to plant operating personnel to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
• Assist with process troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
• Support project management and implementation of new technology and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on process improvements and safe operating practices.
