Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a manufacturing improvement leader to drive key initiatives across the value stream. You will partner with operations, RD&I, quality, maintenance and supply chain to reduce waste and variability while enhancing safety, quality and delivery performance.

The role requires a 4-year engineering or technology degree, strong Lean, SPC knowledge, and proven project management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering/technology.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience with SPC and process capability.
  • Proactive communicator with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement projects across value stream to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
  • Partner with operations, RD&I, quality, maintenance, and supply chain to drive improvements.
  • Develop operator balance charts, staffing playbooks, and line improvements for assembly cells.
  • Manage capital equipment projects from design to startup and proof of concept.

Candidates for this position should have energy and passion to improve both our production and functional processes while leading with integrity.JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:Partner with operations, RD&I, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvements within the value-streamSupport of 100 Series fabrication and assembly operations focused on improving Safety, Quality, Delivery and CostWork closely with production supervisors, team leads, and production employees to perform problem solving and root cause analysisLead continuous improvement projects aligned to lean manufacturing principlesLead cost reductions and yield improvements with delivery partnersUtilize sound project management tools for complex projects and key initiativesImprove equipment capability and reliabilityIdentify opportunities for error proofing and implement solutionsRespond to day to day production needs such as equipment troubleshooting and quality concernsManage the design, procurement, and startup of capital equipment projectsDevelop operator balance charts, machine balance charts, and staffing playbooks for assembly work cellsPartner with ongoing product development team to implement product design changes and line extensions Be highly visible within the value stream to create a safe environment for collaboration and participationPromote a hands on, high involvement approach to problem solvingQUALIFICATIONS:4 year degree in Engineering or TechnologyOpen to varying levels of experienceEquipment procurement experienceStrong project management skillsStrong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principlesStrong knowledge of quality systems, SPC and process capabilityPositive attitude with a desire to build relationships and serve both our internal and external customersStrong, proactive communicator, effective both 1:1 and in groupsPAY RANGE:$78,824.00 - $122,176.00CULTURE AND BENEFITS:At Andersen, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do.
